SilverStone Unleashed 2 Expo Part 2

In part 1 we covered things regarding the events and SilverStone Fans that will hit the market. On this article SilverStone Unleased 2 Expo Part 2, we will now discuss about Power Supply Unit (PSU) and Cases that SilverStone unveiled during the SilverStone Unleashed 2 Expo!

PSU

SilverStone unveiled many things regarding their PSU. From their SFF (Small Form Factor) PSUs to Mainstream (Silent Performance & Efficiency) PSUs. They also have Entry-Level PSUs now called the Essential Series, Nightjar Series (For High-end HTPC operation), and Professional Redundant PSUs called Gemini Series (For Server operations).

Here is an overview of 80 PLUS Certifications Comparison:

Strider Titanium and Platinum Series

Let’s kick off with this Strider Titanium Series for our Miners out there. This is what SilverStone has to offer for our miners:

This monster has awesome features! SilverStone high wattage PSUs have 8 independent PCI-E connectors so it is possible to have 1 to 1 connection with multiple graphic cards. This is safer for applications (Scientific calculations, folding, bitcoin mining, etc,.) requiring high-end graphic cards to run full power non-stop for 24/7.

They gave us a fair warning about the warranty exclusions for this series:

Warranty Exclusions

Overuse of PSUs by ways of adding non-SilverStone extensions/expansion cables or excessive daisy-chaining may result to overloading metal pins in PSU connectors. Melted or burned modular connectors on PSU end is usually a sign of these actions.
